RiverWinds Gallery at 172 Main Street, Beacon, NY is celebrating its Thirteenth Anniversary with a Juried Paintings Show and an opening reception on Saturday, July 9, from 5-8pm. The show, “Odyssey,” is a visual exploration of a physical, emotional, or spiritual transformation or a life-changing journey by xx leading artists of the Hudson Valley.

This show also marks RiverWinds Gallery’s thirteenth year of showcasing and supporting Hudson Valley Artists, providing a venue of outstanding fine art and unique gifts. Co-owners Virginia Donovan, Mary Ann Glass, Linda T. Hubbard and Galina Krasskova, all artists themselves, have shown over 200 artists including over 110 Featured Artists. The Gallery in Beacon offers traditional fine art paintings and photography plus contemporary crafts including ceramics, jewelry, cards, scarves, and hand-dyed yarn.   RiverWinds is the longest running gallery on Main St Beacon.

This month’s show, “Odyssey,” features traditional paintings by artists Rick Gedney, Mara Lehmann, Kevin Palfreyman, and Marlene Wiedenbaum; contemporary works by Virginia Donovan, Olive Farrell, Bridget Herbst, Alexis Lynch, June Julian, Basha Maryanska, Elizabeth Rundquist, and Ilona Wojciechowska; and Abstracts by Diane Christi and Susan Nagel.
